Our unique approach utilizes functional brain imaging known as quantitative Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), which provides a rich level of detail not previously seen in clinical psychiatric practice. The imaging has an FDA approved normative database against which to compare each patient's brain function. This allows us to more quickly and accurately target abnormal brain activity. The imaging also includes optional enhancement using machine learning (AI) and powerful analytical tools that can be used to augment (though not replace) clinical judgment. Additionally, the software allows for extremely detailed 2D and 3D visualizations of activity patterns in cortical and subcortical brain regions.
How it works:
Our proprietary approach integrates quantitative brain SPECT imaging with other clinical history and draws from various specialties and sciences including psychiatry, radiology, nuclear medicine, neurology, neurosience, connectomics, and molecular medicine. This additional knowledge provides a valuable framework for understanding mental illnesses and enhances our ability to individually target treatments.
